Birthday Chronicles

Disclosure: Reviews done on this blog may have been supplied by the company in exchange for my review. All opinions expressed are my own.

My Birthday Chronicles asked me to do a review for them, and in exchange I would get one to see for myself.

I have waited and have emailed them for weeks, and have never received anything.  I was excited as I did keep the front pages for each of my kids and was interested to see what this would be.  I figured this would be more national things, as what I kept was local papers.

I never received anything from them.  After several times contacting them, I still have heard nothing at all from them.  For this, I would NOT recommend them at all.

Mothers Day

I know it's a bit late, but what did you get for Mother's Day?

On Mother's Day itself, my son  who is 2, told me that it was Father's Day and not Mother's Day.  Because of this, he did not make me a card.  He did say that next month is mother's Day, so I am expecting something for that.  We will see how much a 2 year can do.  My daughter told me my present wasn't ready.  She told me that when it was I was to stay in the house and relax.

Last night we got home from Soccer practice and she told me to go inside and relax for my present.  So I did that.  She came inside with Lilacs for me. I was so excited. She was right too. They weren't ready last week.  On Tuesday I told her I was excited because they were almost ready to be picked.  She is 5 and super smart.

I did tell her that now we will have to pick some more and put all around the house. Lilacs are my FAVORITE flowers because of their smell.  I only wish they would bloom all summer, so I could smell them all the time.  For now my family room smells REALLY good.  So we will cut some more and place around the house.

Otterbox

I was given a chance to Review Otterbox.  I was sent one for my Tablet and one for my phone.  I had heard a lot about them, and have so excited to have been able to work with them.

I have been using them for about the last month. I have the Samsung s2.   I have really liked them.  I think my phone has been dropped at least twice a week.  I have to say there is NO damage to the phone at all. Without the case, i know it would be broken by now.  My husband was so impressed with how well it has kept my phone safe, that he decided he needed to go out and buy one for his phone.  He works in a welding shop, and needs that extra protection on his phone.

For my tablet, I LOVE the case.  The hard outside plastic case has a stand built right in.  So I can stand it up both ways.  It is coming in handy right now, as I am typing this review up.  I am able to sit with it on my lap and not have to do much holding at all.

My kids have been enjoying using my tablet.  I am not too concerned of it breaking it as i know it's in a safe case.  I like the extra screen protection that is built into the case.  I don't worry about the kids or myself scratching it up.  The screen protector has not affected the performance of the tablet at all.  It is still just as sensitive to the touch.

I really enjoy the Otterbox.  I do have another case with a keyboard, but I have not used it, and don't plan on going back to it at all.  I do use the keyboard, but not the case.

Disclosure:  I did receive a case in exchange for the review.  I do only state my honest opinions though.

Zymbol

Disclosure: Reviews done on this blog may have been supplied by the company in exchange for my review. All opinions expressed are my own.

The Story

Zymbol™ was ‘accidentally’ created when company Founder Sally Short was doodling, and wrote down the phrase ‘LOVE IS ALL U NEED' stacking each letter on top of the next, and then adding a peace sign to complete the design.
Sally then sent the design off to be cast as a ‘Love and Peace' pendant.
But something happened when the Short family received the pendant; they randomly saw it sitting sideways and noticed a ‘K' popping out.
“There is no ‘K' in the phrase LOVE IS ALL U NEED,” commented Sally’s Daughter Merida.
That motivated the family to see what other letters they could find and they ended up uncovering EVERY LETTER of the ALPHABET and EVERY NUMBER hidden within the symbol!
The Short Family decided to create a line of Interactive Empowerment Jewelry based around the symbol. They named it Zymbol as it is a symbol that represents all letters A through Z.

How is it Interactive?

ZYMBOL™ allows you, or the person who receives it as a gift, to TRACE out a message of inspiration while wearing it. The message can change and evolve with the person or remain consistent. Set your intention for the day or use it to S-P-E-L-L out important names, dates, phrases and goals. The possibilities are endless.
For every Symbol sold – one is gifted to a Children’s Hospital.
Zymbol™ is a thought provoking conversation piece which can lift anyone's spirit, in the best or worst of times.
“We had no idea that this symbol would become so powerful to so many people,” said Dane Short, CEO of his family's business. “We sell zymbol to men and women ages 9 to 90! It's a unisex, multilingual, interactive piece of jewelry with infinite possibilities.”
“Zymbol is a sign of the times,” commented Sally. “Everybody on this earth is united and unique. 1,000,000 people could be wearing the exact same symbol but it would mean something different & unique to each of them.”
P.S. To top it off, it is Multilingual!

Mother's Day and Staying on Track

Disclosure: Reviews done on this blog may have been supplied by the company in exchange for my review. All opinions expressed are my own.

I have really been enjoying working with Nutrisystem this past month.  Nutrisystem food really is good.  This past weekend being Mother's Day, I was excited to step on the scale and see another pound lost.

I felt that I was doing really well, I would enjoy a little treat with my kids.  I should have planned better and would have been able to eat the nutrisystem food.  I made my kids eggs and ham and biscuits for breakfast.  I had already eaten all the eggs on the plan, so I didn't have any to eat with them.  So I did make up two eggs and half a slice of ham for my breakfast.  It was around my normal breakfast calories.

I did spend some time playing outside with my kids and then going on a nice walk.  We did have to walk around the property and check on all our trees.  I am glad that it's getting warmer so we can do our "tree" walk daily.  It was cold there for a bit, but it's finally warming up.

Last week 253.1
This week 252.3

Total weight loss in one month 7 lbs

I did receive my food for the reviews I do.  I do enjoy the food and would recommend Nutrisytsem to anyone looking for help to lose weight

Sugar Scrubs

Disclosure: Reviews done on this blog may have been supplied by the company in exchange for my review. All opinions expressed are my own.

I was given a chance to review ACTZ.  I was so excited when I received the box.

This is the super cool soap that I received.  My daughter asked if she could eat it.  That's how much like food they look.  I have been using is and love it.  It's not drying on my skin at all.  It smells really well too.

I was also given a Sugar scrub.  I have really enjoyed using this on my face.  I love the smell and the texture and how it is all put together.

I love that the company is a small company and they make these all themselves.
