I started the book and was instantly drawn into the book.  I have to say one thing that I thoroughly enjoyed was the different characters and what they were going through.  The book was centered around the family coming together to help out Grandma with her illness.  But each person steps up for different reasons.  One comes forward when her husband leaves for another country as a doctor.  Another because her husband passed.  And still another for personal reasons. 

There is a death of the beloved neighbor.  he was the pastor at the local church.  Their was issues with the churches and the new pastor comes in and helps to heal ties and bring the 2 churches together. 

I thought the church issue was interesting, as it's a small town and they all are friends, but go to different churches and won't come together. 

This book has a wonderful outcome, and it may not be exactly wht you would expect but it definitely is worth the read.
