How did you meet your significant other?

Today I thought  would write about my Awesome Husband.  He is a great husband and a great Dad as well.  

When I met him, was online.  We met through an internet site.  It was kind of funny.  I posted just looking for friends and forgot all about it.  I was new to the area, and just looking for some people to hang out with.  I met up with men and woman, and then just forgot about it.

I received an email stating I had a message.  It was Valentine's weekend.  Well, I wrote him back.  We talked several times over the week and then went on a date a week later.  And as they say the rest is just history.  

I did break a rule I had for myself.  I always said I would not date someone with a child.  Well, he did have a son.  I am glad that I didn't let that stop me.  I told myself as I really didn't want to deal with the drama an ex causes. She has caused a LOT of drama over the years.  But when it came down to it, I realized that being with him, I could deal with it.

We have been together now 8 1/2 years, and have 2 beautiful kids together.
