What a week

I always knew that as a Stay at Home Mom I would be busy. But no one ever said really how busy one is. It seems that the more I want to play with the kids all day, the more that creeps into my day to be done. Some days I feel as if I am never home. And other times, I can't wait to get out of the house.

I enjoy doing things for myself and it seems that I just don't have the time. So what are some things you want to do for yourself.

Great Cloth Diaper Change

Have you heard about this event yet. It's The Great Cloth Diaper Change. This is the second year for it. I am excited about it. I didn't do it last year at all. I am wishing I did. But this year I am. I was looking to host a location and have teamed up with 2 local Ladies who did it last year. We are going to have a GREAT event for it. It's still about 2 months away so a LOT of planning need to be done for it .

If anyone is interested in donating anything for the event, Go ahead and use the contact tab and let me know. It can be something to hand to all participates such as a coupon code, OR you can give something for a raffle.

Winter in Michigan

This has been an extremely odd winter for us this year. Most people by this time of the year, are wanting winter over. They are normally begging for spring to come. Not this year. This year we are all really waiting for winter. We have had a few snow storms so far. Everything melts within days though. I think this entire winter we have only had around 20 inches of snow. Maybe up to 25, but that's about it. And we average around 100 inches a year.

My kids are really wanting winter still. The last time we had snow, they played in it, and had sled rides. They were so disappointed when the snow was gone 3 days later. They wanted sled rides, they went into the garage and got out the sleds. Being the Mom I am, I had to pull them around in the sleds. They weren't understanding we had to snow for the sleds. So we put them in the grass and I pulled them around.

Structure of your blog----review

So you want to start a blog. Well that's the first step is deciding. But what do you write about. how do you start. How do you find readers and everything else that comes with a blog.

This is also a transcripts of a podcast. So do remember when reading the book.

Blogger Info Reviews

I was super excited to get to write up several reviews.

The first one was SEO basics for bloggers.  So you may ask what it is.  It is Seach Engine Optimization.  It's how to get your blog or page up to the top of search engines.  Some people pay big money to people to do this for them.  Search engines Know if you paid for it, so you may not always get up to the top.  This is a podcast transcripts.  It is definitley a plus for all bloggers

The Flu----NOT fun

So this is the first year in several years we didn't do the flu shot at all.  When I had the kids in for a checkup, the doc's office was out of the shot.  So I said we would get next time.  Which we are heading back there for the checkups again in about 3 weeks. 

Wouldn't you know that Sunday it started.  I was out with my sisters, and hubs called to tell me the little guy had been throwing up.  So when i got home ,he seemed better.  He ate and played ok all day.  At night though, he threw up again at bed time.  And of course then hubs said he wasn't feeling good. 

So monday morning, and I see hubs left lunch on the counter.  Sure enough he was on the couch, he was sick.  Then my daughter refused to eat lunch and she got sick just after.  I went out and got the stuff to make homemade Chicken soup.  Made soup and some bread, thinking it would be something they could maybe eat.  No one ate anything but me.  And sure enough after all the kids were in bed, I ended up sick.

Was NOT any fun at all.  A house full of sick people.  And once the kids start feeling better and the parents out, makes it even harder.  Today I am still not eating solids.  I just want to lay on the couch and Sleep.  Of course the kids say NO play time.

I have to say i think in a few weeks, I will be asking about the flu shot.  I think from now on i WILL get it every year.  Definitely don't want to go through this one again.
